Four Simple Words

John 4: 28-29 (HCSB) - "Then the woman left her water jar, went into town, and told the men, 'Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could this be the Messiah?'"

We should be challenged in our faith by those who are new-borns into the faith. They are by instinct led to share Jesus and what He has done for them. We see this in the woman at the well in John 4. This divine encounter between Jesus and this Samaritan Woman shows us both how to share the message - and how we should respond to the message.

The four simple swords that we need to muse over are went - told - come - see. We find that these words sum up how we should approach our sharing of Jesus with others. Over this week, let us pause and muse over each of these words. Let them challenge, convict, create desire, and comfort us.

Take time today to read John chapter 4 verse 1 through 42. In fact, each morning this week, start your day by reading and musing over these verses. And join me as we consider each of these four words. We can delve into the "the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!" Romans 11:33 (KJV).
