Daily Bible Reading: 1 Corinthians 15:33 – 58

Verse of the Day: 1 Corinthians 15:55 – 58 – “O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law: but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not vain in the Lord.”

What a great triumphant set of verses. Death is totally vanquished. The damage that Satan inflicted on Creation in the Garden of Eden has all been reversed for the believer through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. When we are changed at Christ’s return, we will never face the Spector of death again. We will be in a state of timeless, ageless existence. All will be grand, and we will never again face the trials or horrors of sin.

Prayer: Eternal Son of the Living God, what a grand and glorious future I am beholding in Your Word. I have a future beyond anything I can see or experience here. Hallelujah! Amen.
