Daily Bible Reading: Exodus 27 – 28
Verse of the Day: Exodus 28:29 – “And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy place, for a memorial before Jehovah continually.”
When Aaron as the first High Priest of Israel dressed in the ceremonial robes that God described, each piece had significance. On the breastplate that he wore were 12 precious stones – one for each of the tribes of Israel.
God said that when Aaron went into the Tabernacle, he would wear the 12 tribes over his heart. This is a beautiful picture that Christ (our Great High Priest) continually wears us on His heart. There is not a day, nay a minute or second that we are not on the heart of our precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Today, as you go through the many blessings and trials – remember that whatever you are going through Christ has you on His heart.
