Glory filled

February 6

Daily Bible Reading: Exodus 39 – 40

Verse of the Day: Exodus 40:34 – “Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle.”

As we close out our readings from the book of Exodus, look where we have travelled. We entered the book seeing the Nation of Israel in bondage, and we end the book with the Glory of the Jehovah filling the Tabernacle.

Consider our own lives. We started out in bondage to sin. When Christ our Passover released us from the bondage of death, we were set free to leave sin behind us. Often we grumble and look back with longings as we traverse this life. Yet, we have been filled with the Glory of God’s Holy Spirit when we accepted Him, and now we are travelling in the Promises of God.

Today, stop and muse over your life so far. Where are you in your walk with God? What can you do differently?

Prayer: God help me to be what You want me to be – filled with Your Glory. Amen.
