Daily Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 13 – 16
Verse of the Day: 2 Chronicles 16:9 – For the eyes of Jehovah run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.”
Today, we need to pause and ponder our own heart. Take a moment for an honest evaluation of where your heart is. Is it fully committed to God? Take just one area you are holding back and invite the Holy Spirit to come in and create something new in its place.
Take time in your prayers today to be submissive, not defensive about the areas that God reveals to you. I promise you that God will strengthen you (by His promise above) to have the correct attitude toward Him in all areas of your life – as you surrender them to Him.
Prayer: Father, today as You have shown me the area of __________ in my life, I surrender it to You. Holy Spirit, take it, change it, and make me wholly Yours. Amen.
