9-11 Prayer

Most Holy God, on this, the 13th anniversary of that dreadful day, we come to you. Father, we seek restoration for our nation, restoration to a committed view of Who You are, of what You teach, and of our reliance upon You. Father, as individuals and a nation, we have sinned, we have turned our backs on You and Your teachings. Father, we seek forgiveness and pray that You will place your loving, gracious Hand of protection back upon us. May we never forget, or take lightly that horrendous day - the acts of terror inflicted upon our nation. May it be a reminder to place our trust, our faith, our hope only in You. May we come humbly before You today - and every day - seeking your face and favor. We ask this in the name of Your blessed Son, Amen.

Please pray for the Kotchenreuther family. Little Jessie is still undergoing tests to determine why she is running a fever.

Pray that the doctors and nurses will soon discover and be able to treat what it is that is affecting her.

Prayer Concern

Please pray about what is happening in California in reference to education. We are still waiting for the verdict on proceeding with the lawsuit against California that prohibits students trained in schools using Christian textbooks from being admitted to the California State University system (UCLA,etc.).

Now, they have attacked homeschooling. On Feb. 28, Judge H. Walter Croskey of the Second District Court of Appeals in Los Angeles said that homeschooling is only legal if the teaching parent is a certified teacher. This would disenfranchise virtually all of the estimated 175,000 homeschooled children in the state. It has been said that in education, what California does, the rest of the country follows. Keep this before the throne.
