An Old Chinese Proverb

Greetings:

An Old Chinese Proverb says:
"Tell me, I may listen. Teach me, I may remember. Involve me, I will do it."

As educators - and as Christians, this speaks volumes. Too often we are quick to just tell someone something, try to teach them something, when we need to take the time to walk beside them and let them do it for themselves. In today's business jargon it is called "empowering."

Let us this week seek to empower the young people that we are working to teach and mold. Get involved with them.
