I WANT MERCY

"Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy." Matthew 5:7 (CSB)

So, what is the results and reward of developing this outward action?

We receive mercy.

I don’t know about you, but I really don’t want justice.

When we exhibit mercy to others, God gives us mercy – but also in this world, we will often receive back mercy.

We should give compassion freely.

As we model forgiveness, others will seek to give us back forgiveness.

What we sow – we reap.

Think about this today. Meditate and drink deep at the well of truth.

“To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.” (Colossians 1:27-28)  listen to chapter  (Read by Max McLean.
