Daily Bible Reading: Numbers 16 – 17
Verse of the Day: Numbers 16:48 – “And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.”
In our reading today, we see where some decided that they would not accept God’s ways and decisions. Korah, Dathan, and Abiram were ringleaders of those who were in rebellion against God. God swiftly judges these three and their families. The people blamed Moses, and God begins to judge them. Moses sends Aaron out in the midst of the plague and stood between the judgment and God. Thus, we read our verse of the day.
Today, we are like Aaron, we have the message that mankind needs that will stop the plague of death. We stand between them and eternal death with the message of Jesus Christ. Lift high your banner and proclaim the truth of an answer to man’s greatest need – the Lord Jesus Christ.
Prayer: God of Judgment, we stand today between You and our friends, family and others to bring them the message of salvation. Strengthen us and give our words power. Amen.
