Each of the symbols we see at Christmas can help us to discover and learn about the wonderful message of Christmas. They help us to return our focus to the true meaning of this season. God the Son stepped from eternity into time and space. He came to deliver mankind from the chains of sin, and He did this by taking on human flesh and dying for us. So let’s see what we can learn today –
Our symbol today is the Angels. What can we learn from this symbol?
What can we know when Angels appear (Luke 2:13)? First, we can see that God is working. They are messengers from God – they are doing God’s work in the world.
They brought the message of Salvation's appearance – (Luke 2:11,12). They were allowed to announce to the Shepherds the glorious good news that the Savior had been born – mankind’s hope was now on Earth.
When you see Angels on Christmas decorations – remember to give out
the true message of Christmas.
