Daily Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 29 – 31
Verse of the Day: 2 Chronicles 31:21 – “And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.”
Hezekiah was all in. He didn’t seek God, serve God, or surrender to God part way. As our verse tells us, “he did it with all his heart.” As we ponder our lives, do we reluctantly live each day, or do we live it with gusto? Do we face the day with fear, or do we boldly move headlong into the day? How we handle each day is truly a choice that God has given us. Do we wake up and say, “Good lord, it’s morning,” or do we open our eyes and say “It’s morning good Lord!”
Our earthly life is short, today focus on making it the best day of your life – and then work on making tomorrow even better.
Prayer: Great and marvelous God, I am looking forward to our adventures together today. Amen.
