Daily Bible Reading: Nehemiah 7 – 8
Verse of the Day: Nehemiah 8:1 – 3 – “And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the broad place that was before the water gate….And Ezra the priest brought the law before the assembly, both men and women, and all that could hear with understanding….And he read therein before the broad place that was before the water gate from early morning until midday, in the presence of the men and the women, and of those that could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law.”
Oh, that God’s people would return to a deep heartfelt desire for the Word of God. This message has the answers to all of life’s deepest and most important questions.
Prayer: Precious Word of Life, touch our hearts, minds, and souls with the richness and fullness of Your Word. May we seek daily both the written and the Living Word – Jesus. Rekindle our desire to hear from You. Amen.
