Greater is He

Daily Bible Reading: 2 Kings 6 – 8

Verse of the Day: 2 Kings 6:16 – 17 – “ And he answered, Fear not; for they that are with us are more than they that are with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, Jehovah, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And Jehovah opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.”

This is a marvelous account in the life of Elisha. It shows the deep faith that he had in his God. It is a great reminder to each of us. When we consider what we think about God, it can give us strength when we are tempted. It can keep us courageous and faithful – even when we are outnumbered. It gives us the desire to be obedient in our walk with Him. 

What do you think about God? As the question has been asked, “Is your God too small?” Today see a big God with a host at His command.
