Daily Bible Reading: Daniel 11 - 12
Verse of the Day: Daniel 12:3 – “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”
At this season of Advent, we celebrate the entrance of Jesus into time and space, the Virgin Birth of our Redeemer. We are bought out of our sin and placed into the family of God by Jesus. His entrance into the world came about miraculously in order that we can have a sinless sacrifice to meet the Holy demands of a just and righteous God.
Daniel in our passage today records the prophecy that our verse is found. And in this verse, we are encouraged to share the message of a Savior with as many people as we can – to show as many as possible how to be right with God. They will have a bright future, and we will be lights to show the way.
Prayer: Glorious Father, help me to be a shining light for those I come in contact with today.
