Daily Bible Reading: Titus 2
Verse of the Day: Titus 2:11 – 14 – “For the grace of God hath appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us, to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present world; looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own possession, zealous of good works.”
Zealous of good works. Our human nature is actually the opposite of this. We swear, scream, get angry, pout, fight, argue, become irritated with minor things.
We need to learn to pause and be still and quiet before the Lord. Learn from Him. Consciously turn it all over to Him. Let Him be in control. It might surprise you how different it appears when it is in His hands.
Prayer: Gracious and Loving Savior, today I seek to turn my nature over to You to control and direct. I am letting You take the wheel and steer me through this day. Praise You!
