Integrity

March 14

Daily Bible Reading: Deuteronomy 23 – 25

Verse of the Day: Deuteronomy 25:15 – “A perfect and just weight shalt thou have; a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be long in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee.”

Integrity. A powerful word – often taken way too lightly. We expect everyone to deal with it in relation to us, but often find excuses to not deal with others with it. God informs us that He detests those who deal dishonestly. He speaks of integrity in business transactions and in our homes. In other words – we should have integrity in all areas of our lives.

Today, take an honest examination of your life – would everyone say that you are a person of integrity? Or would they be able to cite examples of “dishonest weights and measures?”

Prayer: Gracious Provider, am I a person who has integrity? Do I measure up before You in all areas of my life? Help me to be what You desire. Amen.
