Daily Bible Reading: Deuteronomy 33 – 34

Verse of the Day: Deuteronomy 34:5 – “So Moses the servant of Jehovah died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of Jehovah.”

Moses, the servant of Yahweh died. From Adam to the present day that can be said of every man who walked upon this earth. That is except for three men. Enoch, Elijah, and Jesus of Nazareth. God took Enoch and Elijah directly into Heaven. Jesus was crucified, buried, but on the third day He rose from the dead. And, after 50 days, He ascended into Heaven to forever be with the Father. Enoch and Elijah give us an image of the coming Rapture. Jesus did not need the Father to take Him into Heaven, being God, Jesus went there under His own power. One day, God will take every believer into His presence in Heaven. Will you be there?

Prayer: Father, I look forward to being in Your presence in Heaven. Amen.
