Walk without fear

March 18

Daily Bible Reading: Deuteronomy 31 – 32

Verse of the Day: Deuteronomy 31:6 – “Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be affrighted at them: for Jehovah thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”

Moses is coming to the close of his message to the Israelites, and He challenges them to be strong and courageous. In the next few verses Moses will challenge Joshua to be the leader that God needs. The challenge is not an empty call to be aggressive or powerful. The basis of this challenge is that God would give this strength and courage by His presence. He would never fail to keep any of His promises. He would and continues to be with us every step of the way. If we are walking in His way – we have nothing to fear in this life. Question – are you walking in His pathway today?

Prayer: All-present Provider, give me that assurance to walk in Your plan and path today. Help me to walk fearlessly. Amen.
