In God's Will

September 15

Daily Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 7

Verse of the Day: 2 Corinthians 7:5 – 7 – “For even when we were come into Macedonia our flesh had no relief, but we were afflicted on every side; without were fightings, within were fears. Nevertheless he that comforteth the lowly, even God, comforted us by the coming of Titus; and not by his coming only, but also by the comfort wherewith he was comforted in you, while he told us your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced yet more.”

Paul in this autobiographical book gives us a glimpse of all the suffering and difficulties that he encountered as an apostle of the Lord. Ministry is not always easy or smooth. Often we mistake the idea that if all is going well we are in the will of God, and if there are problems we are outside His will. Paul walked in the will of God and yet met with many struggles.

If you are facing struggles today, make sure that there is nothing that you have done to bring them on. If you are where God wants you, He will see you through.

Prayer: Father, I want to be in Your Will.
