Daily Bible Reading: Genesis 18 – 19
Verse of the Day: Genesis 18:14 – “Is anything too hard for Jehovah? At the set time I will return unto thee, when the season cometh round, and Sarah shall have a son.”
The first part of this passage asks a very important question. “Is anything too hard for Jehovah?” We read this, we say we believe it, and then we live out the opposite.
We will face problems and blessings every day this New Year. We will need to decide daily – maybe even every moment – whether we will live what we say we believe. I am not saying that God will give us everything we ask for, but I am saying that God is capable of doing everything that He has decreed, everything in line with His glorious will. Today, instead of worrying and stressing our, meditate upon this statement. Let it change your view – and your life.
Prayer: Today most Holy Father, as I meditate upon You, let me see your power, majesty, and heart. Amen.
