Daily Bible Reading: 1 Corinthians 7:25 – 40
Verse of the Day: 1 Corinthians 7:33-34 – “but he that is married is careful for the things of the world, how he may please his wife, and is divided. So also the woman that is unmarried and the virgin is careful for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married is careful for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.”
We may be missing the mark when we are quick to tell singles that the ultimate plan of God for them is to get married. We even now have Christian Dating Websites to help this process.
The ultimate plan for a single person is to listen to what He is saying to you. Being single may be the highest spiritual plateau you have ever known in your life. You may be closer to Him being single than you could be as a married person.
Prayer: O Holy One, I pray that I will not interfere with Your plans for the lives I come in contact with. Help me to pray and seek the highest for everyone I see. Amen.
